FAQs for Applicants

  • Eligible candidates must:

    • Have worked campaign in 2024 and/or 2025. This includes electoral, issue advocacy, and ballot initiative campaigns.

    • Staff from all departments are encouraged to apply — this includes organizing, data, finance, digital, operations, advance, communications, and campaign management.

    • Have at least two years of full-time work experience. Roles will range from mid-level to senior.

    • Be interested in working on a campaign in the future and committed to building a career in the progressive ecosystem

  • Our partner employers span the progressive and social impact ecosystem. Employers include:

    • Prominent issue advocacy nonprofits, focused on top issues such as reproductive freedom, democracy reform, and climate

  • Blueline Fellows will hold mid-level to senior level roles in our partner organizations in 2025. Key responsibilities, based off previous department experience, may include:

    • Strategic planning + communication strategy

    • Stakeholder management + coalition building

    • Product sales + client services

    • Launching new statewide + national programmatic initiatives

    • Data engineering + post-mortem analysis

    • Managing operations for major events (like fundraisers + conferences)

  • There are a mix of roles: some will be remote, some will be based in battleground states, and others will be based in: Washington D.C., Boston, and New York City.
    In first-round interviews, candidates will be able to express interest in specific geographic locations.
